Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
As a member of the Emergency Network of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank provides vital food resources year-round for people who are fighting hunger, but would serve also as a first responder in the case of a natural disaster.
California Community Foundation
The California Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief Fund supports intermediate and long-term recovery efforts for major California wildfires, as well as preparedness efforts. Grants from the Wildfire Relief Fund have supported those who were displaced or lost housing, belongings and/or employment, or suffered physical or mental health problems. Their grants have also helped rebuild homes; provided case management services, mental health services and financial assistance. They have assisted California wildfire victims with follow-up medical care and supplies; provided respiratory equipment and information to people with lung disease; educated homeowners about green rebuilding; and provided disaster preparedness information.
Community Foundation Sonoma County
The Sonoma County Resilience Fund stands at the ready to support long-term recovery efforts. First established in 2017 to support recovery efforts from the North Bay Firestorm, their Fund continues to be a source of long-term aid for Sonoma County. They plan to offer help to individuals who were impacted by the fires. They intend to provide aid to help those impacted heal from the long-term effects of trauma, and foster housing solutions for the community.
Scopa Has A Dream Inc
Scopa Has A Dream (dba Corazón Healdsburg) is leading a community-based resource and recovery effort for those impacted by the Kincade Fire. All of those impacted are invited to apply for financial support, housing, replacement items and additional resources through Corazón Healdsburg by applying for recovery funds through the Unity and Community Fund. This fund has been established for Geyserville residents and those impacted by the Kincade fire. They are on the ground at the Healdsburg evacuation shelter now and have already begun providing gift cards for food and other necessities as well as hotel vouchers and a range of support services to help our families cope and recover.
