Thousands of individuals and families have had their lives devastated by the flash floods that struck Nepal on August 26th. Various charities and organizations have launched relief efforts to help those affected by this disaster. The APID and Carespace Employee Resource Groups are teaming up to sponsor this fund that consists of organizations that are directly contributing to aid for those affected in Nepal. We feel greatly for the people and families of Nepal and want to show our support. We ask those who can spare it to make a donation and take advantage of company matching to maximize our impact.

Nepal Orphans Home, Inc.

Nepal Orphans Home (NOH) attends to the welfare of children in Nepal who are orphaned, abandoned, or not supported by their parents. NOH provides for the children’s basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing, as well as schooling and health care, and administers to their emotional needs with love and compassion, allowing them to grow up in a nurturing environment. Our mission is not just to rescue children from abject poverty, but to enable the children to develop and realize their potentials.

Direct Relief

Direct Relief is responding to catastrophic flash flooding in Nepal, coordinating with local Nepali healthcare partners and Nepal’s Ministry of Health to deliver emergency medical aid and relief.

Project HOPE - The People-to-People Health Foundation, Inc.

Project HOPE has deployed an Emergency Response Team following the deadly flash floods and landslides in Nepal that have devastated communities.
