Lambi Fund of Haiti

Founded jointly in 1994 by Haitians and Americans, the Lambi Fund of Haiti is a unique grassroots organization whose mission is to assist the popular, democratic movement in Haiti. Its goal is to help strengthen civil society in Haiti as a necessary foundation for democracy and development.The Lambi Fund of Haiti takes its lead from the peasant and women's organizations with which we collaborate. The Lambi Fund is based on the premise that the Haitian people understand how development is best achieved in their country. Therefore, the Lambi Fund follows the lead of grassroots organizations in program and priorities. Through discussion and reflection, the peasants decide what is best for their community and present the project to the Lambi Fund for support.

Nova Hope for Haiti Inc

Nova Hope for Haiti, Inc. is organized as a non-profit entity exclusively to provide health care, humanitarian aid, and educational support to the poor in Haiti. Implimentation of community development programs and nutritional rehabilitation services will serve to improve the quality of life and encourage self sufficiency in Haiti.

Roots of Development helps impoverished communities acquire the organizational skills and financial resources they need to manage their own development. We help build stronger, more independent communities that are capable of choosing, building, managing, and maintaining their own projects.Our vision is for a world in which the very communities living in poverty are the ones leading the fight against it.
