Outdoor sports activities for children, youngsters and parents in SOS Children's Village in Tryavna Fund

SOS Children's Village Tryavna, established in 1993, is the first of its kind in Bulgaria. This year we celebrate its 30th anniversary. Build on plot of land of 25 000 square meters, the SOS Children’s village consists of cozy family houses for SOS foster families, and SOS Consulting Center Tryavna, which provides support to children and families at risk, living in difficult social conditions. The playgrounds on the territory of the SOS village are used not only by its inhabitants, but also by children and youths and their parents from the neighborhood. Currently, the SOS village has a sports field that is used for football, basketball, and volleyball. There are also children’s swings, climbing frames, and trains, along with benches for resting. To further develop the outdoor space with fitness equipment, SOS Children Villages Bulgaria aims to purchase and install: a device for rehabilitation of hands and feet, and a combined device for outdoor fitness. The total needed sum, including transportation costs and installation fee, amounts to approximately BGN 3,500.
