The Food Bank of South Jersey (FBSJ) is a member of the Feeding America national food bank network. FBSJ focuses on providing immediate solutions to hunger, teaching people to eat nutritiously, and helping people find sustainable ways to improve their lives. FBSJ’s work as part of Full Futures focuses on nutrition education and cultivating a school nutrition mindset.
Wellness In The Schools Inc
Wellness in the Schools (WITS) is a national non-profit that teaches kids healthy habits to learn and live better. Through their Cook for Kids program, WITS places chefs trained culinary graduates in schools to transform the cafeteria menu, train school staff, and provide nutrition education to students. As a partner of Full Futures, WITS will also make recommendations and provide training accordingly, while also playing a critical role in assessing equipment and infrastructure needs in Camden’s school cafeterias.
Common Market Philadelphia Inc
The Common Market (TCM) is a nonprofit regional food distributor focusing on connecting communities with good food from sustainable family farms. As a partner of Full Futures, TCM will support the Camden City School District (CSSD) in creating opportunities for healthy food access and local food procurement across the school food environment.
Alliance For A Healthier Generation
Alliance for a Healthier Generation (HG) is committed to transforming children's health and has a strong track record working with schools, youth-serving organizations, businesses, and communities. HG believes every mind, everybody, and every young person should be healthy and ready to succeed.
HG will lead the measurement and evaluation work for Full Futures, tracking the process and program outcomes and working with backbone partner FoodCorps to develop a program blueprint.
Tides Center
The Tides Center is the fiscal sponsor for our partner, The National Farm to School Network.
The National Farm to School Network (NFSN) is an information, advocacy, and networking hub for communities working to bring local food sourcing and food and agriculture education into school systems and early care and education environments. As a partner of Full Futures, the National Farm to School Network will assist Camden City School District (CCSD) in mapping longer-term progress towards increased local and values-based procurement.
