CREC's mission is to work with boards of education and community based organizations of the Capitol Region to improve the quality of public education for learner of all ages. CREC's vision is that every student can learn at high levels if she/he has access to effective and quality educational programs and if her/his social, emotional, and academic needs are met by the learning environment. To achieve CREC's mission and goals, CREC will:*Promote cooperation and collaboration with local districts and other community based organizations that are committed to the improved quality of public education.*Provide cost-effective services to member districts clients;*Respond to client needs for improved quality public education*Provide leadership in the region through the quality of its services and its ability to identify and share quality services with its member districts and with other community organizations committed to public education.
